I am a children’s nonfiction author and Senior UX Researcher based in Minnesota. I write educational content explaining complex technical and scientific topics – including technology, AI, and digital systems – for Grades 3–7 readers, but am open to all audiences.
My published titles include work with Black Rabbit across multiple series.

In my UX practice, I apply machine learning and natural language processing to analyze user behavior and drive strategic product decisions. I hold certifications in project management and UX, and bring experience across higher education and technology sectors.
This dual background is a direct asset in educational publishing: the same skills used to synthesize complex research findings for stakeholders are used to make advanced concepts legible and engaging for young readers.

Beyond professional work, I am a certified wine professional, yoga and meditation instructor, and budding botanical illustrator. My favorite emoji is the brontosaurus, and I love golden hour bike rides with my daughter!
